Lunan Liu, PhD.

Postdoctoral Associate
EASBME BME Faculty

Research Interests:

Lunan is a Postdoctoral Associate specializing in tissue engineering, in vitro models, and microphysiological systems, with current research focused on 3D bioprinting and its applications in skin modeling.

Research History:

Lunan obtained his Ph.D. from New York University, where he developed patient-derived organoid and organ-on-a-chip platforms to model tumor microenvironments and evaluate immunotherapies. His current research focuses on using 3D bioprinting and biomaterial-based platforms to engineer physiologically relevant skin models, with a particular interest in incorporating polymer components to modulate immune responses and support functional vascularization.
