Research History

Haodong received his H.B.Sc. in Pharmacology and Biomedical Toxicology from the University of Toronto and his M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Yale University. During his undergraduate training, he conducted interdisciplinary research in environmental toxicology, expansion microscopy, spatial omics and bioinformatics.

He is currently a Postgraduate Associate in the Saltzman Research Group at Yale University. His current research focuses on polymeric nanoparticle-mediated in utero gene delivery for congenital diseases. Previously, he investigated nanoparticle retention in the brain through biomaterial engineering.
